Automation Support Specialist

Impala Terminals is seeking an experienced Automation Support Specialist to lead the 2nd level of TMS support for the Global region. This role involves following up on all support tickets from terminals, processing and resolving requests, incidents, and defects under established SLAs worldwide.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, automation, and industrial equipment, with experience in liquid bulk terminals. They will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with IT staff, and providing outstanding support to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve day-to-day technical TMS issues
- Help diagnose and resolve technical equipment integration issues with terminal personnel
- Raise IT issues to IT Infrastructure Management/vendors when necessary
- Generate standards for integrating equipment
- Assure accurate utilization of TMS in all terminals
- Provide remote support to users in other regions
- Maintain global TMS IT standards
- Perform health checks on TMS application and equipment
- 2+ years' experience in providing End User IT Support, Automation, and Industrial Equipment
- Strong knowledge of Win 10 & 11 and Active Directory
- ITIL, ITSM, or other Service Delivery management certifications
- Knowledge of Oil and Gas terminal operations
- Networking skills (routers, firewalls, switches, etc.)
- Automation process understanding
