Impala Terminals seeks a skilled Regional IT Support Manager to provide effective leadership and technical assistance across the LATAM region.

Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining all IT-related hardware and software across the region. This includes network communications, servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and OT infrastructure. You will also assist in the maintenance of CCTV, ACS, UPS, storage and backup systems, power, mobile phones, and wireless devices installed onsite.

The successful applicant will have 3-5 years' experience in a team lead role in End User IT Support within a high-pressure environment. Experience in financial services, national infrastructure, or commodity logistics end user support would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve day-to-day technical issues promptly
  • Escalate IT issues to the Network Security and Lead Architect when necessary
  • Manage inventory and champion stock control
  • Provide remote support to users in other regions
  • Undertake small to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the Network Security and Lead Architect
  • Support and maintain server, network, and server room under instruction from global teams
  • Set up and configure new equipment in line with business expectations
  • Adhere to and actively work to maintain global IT standards
  • Provide effective basic user training and new user inductions
  • Install and troubleshoot authorized software
  • Ensure security and upgrades are applied correctly and kept up to date on end-user equipment
  • Antivirus installation on all end-user equipment
  • Log and track warranty repairs
  • Report faults and maintain records on server and site outages
  • Complete internal user/desk moves including peripherals and printers
  • Patching of network and phones
  • Ensure all IT equipment in meeting rooms is neat and functional
  • Complete daily site checks
  • Submit weekly reports to the Network Security and Lead Architect
  • Request and track IT purchases
  • Provide basic support and troubleshooting on APC and related UPS/Cabinet Power equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Win 10/11 and Active Directory
  • Strong working knowledge of industry-standard End User imaging and packaging
  • Strong understanding of commodity storage and freight forwarding applications (advantageous)
  • Some exposure to managing and supporting OT infrastructure environments (highly advantageous)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 - 2019 required
  • Working knowledge of networking routers, firewalls, switches (e.g., Cisco, Citrix, VPN)
  • Working knowledge of spyware/malware removal tools and techniques
  • Working knowledge of MS Intune applied to a mobile device (a plus)
  • Strong written and spoken English and Spanish essential
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
