The Agriculture Manager will be responsible for managing the program's technical team and leading the engagement with technical counterparts at our partner company and their suppliers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, project management, and people management, with experience in regenerative agriculture principles and practices.

The program will focus on driving the transition towards regenerative farming models across countries and commodities in our partner's sourcing footprint. The Agriculture Manager will coordinate and collaborate with various actors to conduct the processes under their responsibility, including project planning, implementation, and monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in agriculture or a related field, with at least seven years of related professional experience. Previous experience in the agriculture sector, managing farm operations or advising agribusinesses, is essential. Strong project management and people management skills, including anticipating demand and managing multiple tasks and projects while meeting tight deadlines, are also required.

The Agriculture Manager will be responsible for:

  • Program Management: Coordinates the planning, implementation, and monitoring of regenerative agriculture projects across multiple countries and crops.
  • Program Implementation: Manages the program's technical team, composed of in-house agronomists, external regenerative agriculture experts, and partner organizations, to execute the work plan.
  • Program Reporting and Knowledge Management: Collaborates with the different areas of the program to measure and report program data, including output-level indicators as well as outcome-level indicators.
  • Contract Management: Supports recruitment and contracting of consultants and experts as needed.

The Agriculture Manager will work closely with the program team, partner company, and suppliers to achieve the program's objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and teams in a multicultural environment.
