NRS PAY is a leading provider of payment processing and merchant services, helping businesses manage and grow their financial operations with speed and accuracy. As we continue to scale, we're seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Internal Accounting & Reconciliation Specialist to support critical financial operations.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a sharp and methodical accounting professional to manage daily reconciliation of incoming and outgoing wire transfers and track key financial components such as interchange fees, chargebacks, rejects, and reserves. This role will sit at the heart of our finance operations and ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance across all money movement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Perform daily reconciliation of incoming and outgoing wire transactions related to merchant processing activity.

• Track and account for interchange fees, chargebacks, rejects, reserves, and other adjustments.

• Investigate discrepancies, ensure proper allocation of funds, and work with internal teams to resolve reconciliation issues.

•  Maintain accurate records and reports for audits and internal reviews.

• Collaborate with risk, operations, and underwriting teams to ensure seamless financial tracking.

• Support month-end close processes, financial audits, and compliance reporting.

• Continuously improve reconciliation procedures and identify process automation opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of accounting, treasury, or reconciliation experience within the merchant services, banking, or financial services industry.

•  Strong knowledge of wire transfers, payment flows, and financial operations in a high-volume environment.

•  Experience working with interchange fees, chargebacks, and transaction-level reconciliation.

• High proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Familiarity with card network fee structures (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).

•  Experience working in a payments or fintech environment.

•  Understanding of NACHA and ACH processing flows.

Not just do the underwriting but also moving the money from the customer to the store owner, accounting knowledge about every penny received. Follow where the money is moving. Experience in processing and accounting, detail oriented.
