About the Role

We are looking for a
Treasury Accountant
to join our growing accounting team and support the financial operations of a
U.S.-based company expanding in Guatemala
.

This role plays a key part in ensuring strong financial management — including daily activities such as, processing invoices, managing cash applications, overseeing receivables, and maintaining accurate records. The Treasury Accountant will help drive efficiency, compliance, and collaboration across departments and subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and post invoices accurately and on time from multiple systems.
• Apply incoming cash to customer accounts and reconcile balances.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging, addressing overdue balances proactively.
• Oversee funds held bank accounts within the claims system.
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly accounts receivable and treasury reports.
• Support audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain day-to-day treasury functions.
• Gather and analyze financial data for reporting and general ledger accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Support special projects and provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience (
  treasury experience is a plus
  ).
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and treasury processes.
• Intermediate proficiency in
  Microsoft Excel
  .
• Experience using
  ERP or financial systems
  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
