OPEN POSITION:
Sales Controlling Analyst - Central America

Functional Area:
Finance

This position is responsible for providing regional finance support to commercial and finance teams across the region by the generation and analysis of GTN and BOTG reports, GL accounts analysis preparation, providing guidance regarding the compliance of internal control policies and ensuring the correct classification of GTN investment across the region according to Colgate Financial Policies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monthly preparation and analysis of regional GTN investment reports ensuring the accuracy of the data and value of the information provided.
• Monthly preparation and analysis of regional Merch & Promoters reports ensuring the accuracy of the data and value of the information provided.
• Monthly GTN balance GL Accounts preparation and reconciliation with rebate catalog.
• Monthly preparation of Sales Cutoff and revenue recognition reports.
• Review and ensure the correct classification of all the GTN investment at Customer and SKU level, performing the manual JE in order to correct the misclassifications if necessary.
• Provide guidance to CD teams and CDT Finance regarding the compliance of GTN internal policy and the analysis of effectiveness of GTN investment.
• Daily preparation and review of regional Sales Flash report for Senior management, Commercial and finance teams across the region.
• Periodic preparation and analysis of e-commerce financial reports required by Latam Division and Regional Senior management.
• Review and consolidation of approval documentation of discounts above guidelines.
• Review and consolidation of KPI's exceptions requests from local subsidiaries in order to request final approval to Regional Directors
• Sox Controls documentation

Requirementes:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance areas
• Experience with SOX control
• Experience in Power BI, SAP, and Excel
• Intermediate level of English

This position is critical to fill due to its importance in providing strong guidance and support from the Regional Sales controlling team to the local subsidiaries in the Region, and especially its key role in the periodic reports and Month-end closing activities
