About the Job

The Audit & Tax Coordinator will report directly to the Accounting Manager, who will assist, review, and coach her/him as necessary to achieve the deliverables, the position will have an audit assistant to be supportive in the daily activities and compliance. The deliverables are redirected to "Big 4" audit firms, who will be handling up the final review to be in compliance with all the obligations a medium company in Guatemala is having.

As Audit & Tax Coordinator, You Will…

Analyze and prepare the working papers for financial audits, ISO, current and deferred ISR, transfer pricing, VAT claim, and othersProvide preliminary review of financials statements ensuring fiscal and regulatory consistency within the Guatemalan frameworkSupport the finance team with any other audit requirementsPrepare work papers, purchase integrations and back up support

As Audit & Tax Coordinator, You Have…

CPA Student with 2 - 3 years of experience working in Audit firm is preferredPrevious work experience in a "Services Exportation" company is preferredKnowledge on using Reten ISR tool, (will be handling up to +3000 employees)Experience with Financial Statements audits, Tax revisions, VAT Claim Audit (Electronic Regime), Tax authority Audits (SAT)General Knowledge on Guatemalan taxesGood accounting understandingEnglish language skills - Basic (A1-A2)Intermediate Excel knowledgeExtremely organized and can manage tasks with accuracyAbility to handle a high volume of work Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse groups of people, both internally and externallyStrong problem-solving, planning and analytical skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality at all timesProactive and driven by results
