Supervisor Profile:

  • Supervises daily activities of production control team focused on routine and ad hoc work.
  • Responsible for the results of the team
  • Works within stablished precedents and practices. Also moves dynamically to assist on non-standard practices.
  • Analyzes information to solve ongoing problems.
  • Typically, does not perform the work supervised.

Functional Knowledge:

Has comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within production control.

Business Expertise:

  • Uses insights into how the team integrates with other teams to coordinate efforts and resources to achieve shared and individual objectives.
  • Impact:
  • Has direct impact through responsibility for the quality of the tasks performed by the production control team.
  • Leadership:
  • Provides day to day supervision to the team including coaching on performance, coordinating activities, checking on quality and work progress.

Problem Solving:

Resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions and applying technical experience and precedents.

Interpersonal Skills:

Requires tact and diplomacy to exchange ideas and information in a concise logical way.

Skills and knowledge:

  • At least 2 years of experience in production control.
  • Highly proactive and efficient in multitasking.
  • Experience in similar roles.
  • Experience in the Business Units to work on or in similar configurations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate ideas easily in a technical manner.
  • Knowledge in SQL environments.
  • Knowledge in MCP systems.
  • Knowledge in Windows Server environments.
