What We're Looking For
We value engineers who take initiative, communicate clearly, and are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where responsibilities can shift. You'll be expected to balance technical execution with attention to detail, collaborate across functions, and approach challenges with a sense of ownership.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain backend services in .NET Core (C#).
- Design, build, and secure REST APIs used by the frontend.
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway).
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and follow best practices in security (encryption, access control, auditing).
- Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
- Optimize relational database performance (PostgreSQL/SQL Server).
- Contribute to containerized deployments with Docker/Kubernetes (ECS/EKS).
- Support integration of AI/ML workflows as needed.
What You Bring
- Strong experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, and distributed backend systems.
- Proven ability to design and build REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway).
- Knowledge of security practices and compliance frameworks (HIPAA preferred).
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server).
- Proficiency with CI/CD, testing, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.
It Is An Asset If You Have
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7).
- Exposure to AI/ML pipeline integration.
- Experience working in startup or small-team environments.
