Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Managua, Nicaragua for the position of Human Resources Director for Cluster Nicaragua & Costa Rica. The HR Director will oversee all HR operations, including developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws. The role also involves driving performance management initiatives, fostering a positive work culture, and collaborating with leadership to support organizational goals. Strong leadership and strategic planning are key to success in this position.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Human Resources (HR) management and HR policies
  • Experience in Employee Relations and Performance Management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Labor and Employment Law
  • Exceptional strategic planning, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels and promote a positive workplace culture
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM) is a plus
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English is desirable
  • Willing to travel to Costa Rica every quarter
