Your Day to Day  

As a Marketing Data Engineer , you would be working on: 

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable serverless applications and workflows using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and related AWS services to ensure secure, efficient operations for marketing data systems.

• Collaborating closely with marketing operations and analytics teams to create and optimize data pipelines, making sure all team members have access to clean, actionable data that supports strategic marketing goals.

• Leveraging low-code/no-code solutions to quickly build, prototype, and deploy workflows, providing innovative solutions that directly address the needs of the marketing team.

• Building and optimizing workflows in Databricks, applying tools like PySpark and Spark SQL to process and analyze large volumes of marketing data, empowering the team to make data-driven decisions.

• Designing, developing, and deploying secure RESTful APIs, and managing versioning, throttling, and authorization (with tools such as AWS API Gateway and AWS IAM), ensuring seamless and secure data integration across platforms.

What We're Looking For 
As a Marketing Data Engineer, your background will look like: 

• Experience developing serverless applications and APIs on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, and related services).

• Advanced programming skills in Python, and experience optimizing SQL queries for various database environments.

• Hands-on proficiency with Databricks, including distributed data processing tools (PySpark, Spark SQL).

• Demonstrated ability to design, deploy, and manage secure RESTful APIs (including versioning, authorization, and throttling).

• Solid background working with both relational databases and modern data warehouses (Hive, Databricks, etc.).

• Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms to rapidly prototype and deploy workflows.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with marketing, analytics, and technical teams.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset, with adaptability to learn new tools and technologies.

• Great communication skills
