Job Summary

We are seeking a CLA Expert to lead activities that support the operationalization of Collaboration, Learning and Adaptation (CLA) and knowledge management within USAID/Guatemala and with its implementing partners and external stakeholders. The CLA Expert will work with the Chief of Party and with relevant USAID staff to design strategies, events, tools and knowledge products that promote collaboration of internal and external actors, sharing of learning and knowledge generated by the activity and by others, and the use of learning for adaptation of USAID program and operational approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective collaboration between and among USAID and its partners.
• Collaborate with USAID and its partners to implement processes and tools to institutionalize continuous learning and adaptive management.
• Support USAID in improving organizational practices and capacity for learning and adaptation.
• Lead efforts to monitor progress toward USAID learning agenda objectives.
• Support capacity building activities for USAID, its partners, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of knowledge management systems for ongoing and completed M&E activities and strategic reports for USAID.
• Support mid-course corrective measures and/or modifications during activity implementation.
• Strengthen and add value to existing USAID CLA practices and processes, and support the capture and dissemination of learning from monitoring and evaluation efforts.
• Oversee the development of useful, innovative learning products and events.

About the Position

This is a long-term position based in Guatemala City, Guatemala, expected to start in early 2025. The CLA Specialist will report to the Chief of Party.
