Principal Consultant

As a key member of our consulting team, you will oversee a variety of client projects within the pharmaceutical sector, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes. Your role will be pivotal in fostering new business opportunities while enhancing our existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project teams, coordinating both internal and external resources to achieve client deliverables.
• Utilize your industry knowledge to propose strategic solutions and approaches to client challenges.
• Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct follow-ups post-project completion to guarantee client satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Facilitate effective communication within project teams and with clients to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Contribute to the development of intellectual property that can be leveraged in future projects.
• Manage the proposal process, ensuring the integrity and quality of bids.
• Identify and cultivate new business prospects through follow-on work and lead generation.
• Enhance your understanding of consulting practices and the pharmaceutical market through ongoing training and experience.
• Provide strategic guidance and intellectual leadership to both clients and project teams.
• Engage in regular team meetings to direct consulting teams effectively.

• Mentor and coach a small team of junior staff members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic background and relevant graduate qualifications.
• 8-10 years of professional experience in consulting or the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, demonstrating career advancement.
• Proven commitment to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a focus on developing team members.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
