Through its network of 30 strategically located assets and operations in 20 countries, Impala provides critical storage and logistics infrastructure services to energy and dry bulk customers around the world. The company manages two global businesses – Impala Energy Infrastructure and Impala Dry Bulk & Logistics - and is a joint venture between one of the world’s largest commodity trading houses, Trafigura, and the global fund manager, IFM Investors.

ITG is a Joint-Ventures between Trafigura and IFM investment fund, owning and operating various assets such as ports, terminals and multimodal logistics assets chains in export driven emerging markets for both liquid and dry cargos. It operates as well several assets (owned by Trafigura) under a management service.

We are offering an outstanding opportunity to join Impala Terminals Group as a Junior Commercial Executive in our Sales division. Your role will be essential in growing our client portfolio and driving our strategic growth in Guatemala and Mexico.

MAIN PURPOSE:
Consolidate, increase or build a client portfolio for a specific business unit (non-minerals). Be active support in the generation of new businesses and projects related to making valuable contributions to the trade of these products or customer portfolio, considering the commercial objectives established in the company's long-term strategic plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Search and attract new clients for the service portfolio of the assigned business unit or build new business units and clients' portfolios.

2. Analyse the market and competitors in the assigned service and business unit. Propose plans to bring together the market and add customer value over the competition.

3. Supervise clients' operations, coordinating with the areas and performance of the team assigned to this position.

4. Control the critical metric and relevant metric of the sales budget for your assigned business unit.

5. Annual generation of sales projection and customer forecast for a new customer portfolio.

6. Follow up on customer account statements and collections and handle delayed payments.

7. Update rates due to increases from third parties, maintaining margin control of the business unit considering fixed, variable and other costs.

8. Participate and lead marketing at trade fairs and events.

9. Complete the vital actions to ensure compliance and improvement of Impala Terminals Perú's coordinated management system in relation to its functions.

10. Meet customer requirements through compliance with established procedures for quality control in the service.

11. Align with other functions assigned to achieve the objectives of the area.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Graduate / Technician / bachelor's degree in foreign trade, international business administration or related careers.

2. Proven experience in Sales or Commercial Executive roles, preferably in warehousing, port terminals, or cargo agencies with a focus on seatrade. (3 years)

3. Specialization and/or diploma in International Business, Foreign Trade or similar (desirable).

4. Clients portfolio or valid clients' network.

5. Knowledge of the containers bulk cargo export process.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Global Management, Country Managers.

External: Suppliers / Collaborators & other external collaborators as the need arises.
