Job DescriptionAs a Junior Commercial Executive, you will play a key role in growing our client portfolio and driving strategic growth in Guatemala and Mexico. Your primary responsibility will be to consolidate, increase, or build a client portfolio for a specific business unit, while actively supporting the generation of new businesses and projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Search and attract new clients for the assigned business unit or build new business units and clients' portfolios.
- Analyse the market and competitors in the assigned service and business unit, proposing plans to bring together the market and add customer value over the competition.
- Supervise clients' operations, coordinating with the areas and performance of the team assigned to this position.
- Control the critical metric and relevant metric of the sales budget for your assigned business unit.
- Annual generation of sales projection and customer forecast for a new customer portfolio.
- Follow up on customer account statements and collections and handle delayed payments.
- Update rates due to increases from third parties, maintaining margin control of the business unit considering fixed, variable, and other costs.
- Participate and lead marketing at trade fairs and events.
- Complete vital actions to ensure compliance and improvement of Impala Terminals Peru's coordinated management system in relation to its functions.
- Meet customer requirements through compliance with established procedures for quality control in the service.
- Align with other functions assigned to achieve the objectives of the area.
We are seeking an individual with the following skills and qualifications:
- Graduate/Technician/Bachelor's degree in foreign trade, international business administration, or related careers.
- Proven experience in Sales or Commercial Executive roles, preferably in warehousing, port terminals, or cargo agencies with a focus on seatrade (3 years).
- Specialization and/or diploma in International Business, Foreign Trade, or similar (desirable).
- Clients' portfolio or valid clients' network.
- Knowledge of the containers bulk cargo export process.
