Role Description The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis to support investment decisions and portfolio management in real estate, private equity, and strategic opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining financial models, analyzing financial statements, preparing reports and presentations for leadership, and supporting financial planning and forecasting. The role also involves monitoring portfolio performance, evaluating new investment opportunities, and contributing to risk assessment and scenario analysis. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Guatemala City, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to drive data-informed decisions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to evaluate investments, perform modeling, and interpret complex data.
Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to prepare accurate analyses, summaries, and presentations.
Candidates should possess solid Financial Planning skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term investment strategies.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools; experience with valuation techniques (DCF, comparables, LBO) is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; a relevant master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
Proven experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, or a similar role, ideally within real estate, private equity, or asset management.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
Ability to work on-site in Guatemala City, collaborate effectively in a team environment, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
