🎯 About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Software Engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of scalable cloud-based applications.

This is a highly technical, hands-on role for an experienced developer who enjoys solving complex problems and building modern software using .NET, AWS, microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless technologies.

You will work closely with Product, DevSecOps, Infrastructure, and other Engineering teams to build secure, scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions following modern software engineering and Agile best practices.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• 💻 Design and develop complex software solutions using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• 🏗️ Build and maintain containerized microservices following established architectural principles and design patterns.
• ☁️ Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS, including microservices, event-driven, and serverless architectures.
• 🔐 Design and develop secure RESTful APIs compliant with OpenAPI v3 standards.
• 🧩 Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, layered architecture, and cloud design patterns.
• 🚀 Work with AWS services such as:
  • AWS Lambda
  • AWS Batch
  • Amazon S3
  • Amazon CloudFront
  • Amazon EventBridge
• 🐳 Build and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• ⚛️ Develop and maintain modern Single Page Applications (SPAs) using React and TypeScript.
• 🔄 Collaborate with DevSecOps and Infrastructure teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• 🧪 Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and API tests using TDD and/or BDD practices.
• 🔧 Maintain and continuously improve frameworks, libraries, application performance, and security.
• 🛡️ Identify and address security vulnerabilities and technical debt.
• 📋 Collaborate with Product Managers to refine user stories and break them down into actionable development tasks.
• 🤝 Participate in code reviews and pair programming, contributing to knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
• 🚧 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical blockers efficiently.
• 📈 Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, architecture, and engineering standards.

👤 What We’re Looking For

• 🎓 6+ years of professional software development experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• ☁️ 2+ years of experience designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions using microservices architecture.
• ⚛️ 1+ year of experience developing React + TypeScript Single Page Applications.
• 🏗️ Strong experience with microservices and cloud-native development.
• 🔐 Strong understanding of secure API development and software architecture.
• 🧠 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• 🤝 Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.
• 💬 Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• 🚀 A proactive mindset with a passion for learning and adopting modern technologies.

🎓 Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and/or equivalent technical education.
• AWS Developer certification is preferred.
