Cloud Platform Operations Engineer Senior

Función Principal:
Responsable de operar, mantener y mejorar continuamente la infraestructura y servicios cloud privados (IaaS/PaaS) en varios países de Centroamérica, utilizando tecnologías como VMware y OpenStack. Actúa como soporte especializado de segundo nivel (L2), garantizando la disponibilidad y continuidad de los servicios.
Responsabilidades Clave:
- Operar y mantener las plataformas Iridium y Tigo Open Cloud.
- Atender incidentes en esquema rotativo de guardias 24/7 como punto de contacto L2.
- Gestionar el ciclo de vida de la infraestructura, incluyendo parches, accesos, configuraciones y upgrades.
- Resolver tickets, investigar incidentes y documentar soluciones.
- Asegurar el cumplimiento de estándares de seguridad y políticas internas.
- Impulsar mejoras operativas mediante automatización.
Requisitos:
- 4 años de experiencia con OpenStack
(Nova, Neutron, Swift, etc.). - Administración de sistemas Linux y scripting (Python,
Bash). - Conocimiento en tecnologías VMware (vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T).
- Experiencia con Kubernetes, contenedores y hardware de servidores (Dell, Huawei, SuperMicro).
- Conocimiento de redes (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN), seguridad y procesos ITIL.
- Manejo de herramientas como ServiceNow, Terraform, Git, etc.
- Nivel de Inglés Intermedio
- Certificación ITIL v3 o v4 deseable
