Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced professional to serve as our Country Representative in one of our country offices. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting the IDB's mission and implementing our strategy in the country.
Main Responsibilities:- Represent the IDB Group and foster partnerships with government officials, the private sector, civil society, and other stakeholders.
- Lead policy dialogue and programmatic initiatives to promote sustainable development and reduce poverty in the country.
- Mobilize resources from the private sector and other development partners to support IDB projects and programs.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of development programs and projects, ensuring they meet their intended impact.
- A Master's degree in Public Policy, Business, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- No less than 15 years of relevant experience in international development, with a proven track record of success in similar roles.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of the IDB's policies and procedures.
