MEL Manager

Project HOPE is seeking a highly skilled MEL Manager to join our team in Guatemala City, Guatemala. As a key member of our global health team, you will be responsible for developing and managing the award's monitoring and evaluation system and processes.

• Design and implement the project's evaluation activities, including periodic reviews, performance evaluations, and outcome and impact evaluations.
• Develop and oversee implementation of strategies for capacity strengthening of staff, implementing partners, government counterparts, and other stakeholders in M&E systems/tools, data management, health informatics, data analysis, and use for program planning and improvements.
• Ensure the quality and timely preparation and submission of workplans, data sets, progress reports, and papers summarizing project results and evidence.
• Lead the preparation of reports and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the information provided.
• Contribute to building a positive image and overall credibility of the organization.

• Master's degree in public health epidemiology, health informatics, biostatistics, or a related field.
• Exceptional ability to analyze multiple sources of data to identify data trends and provide recommendations on project implementation.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and research related to health development projects.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting effective integration of surveillance systems, including geospatial data for improved planning, and leading and building the capacity of M&E officers.
• Strong communication skills, including interpersonal, presentation, written, and oral English to fulfill the diverse technical and managerial requirements of the activity.

Fluency in Spanish and English (Level IV) is required.
