Senior HSE Professional

Main Responsibilities:

The role of Senior HSE Professional requires a professional to analyze data for reports and ensure safety protocols are strictly adhered to. This involves coordinating personnel within the terminal, providing HSE training/talks, and promoting a safety-first culture.

Key Roles:

• Promote accident prevention strategies
• Evaluate compliance with regulations and industry standards
• Develop and conduct training programs on safety procedures
• Coordinate emergency response management

This position is responsible for ensuring that all employees and subcontractors adhere to the highest standard of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices. The professional will oversee the implementation of HSE strategies, monitor performance metrics, and communicate results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective communication of HSE expectations across the organization
• Manage daily activities related to injury management and workers' compensation
• Maintain accurate records of safety-related documentation, including incident reports, inspection reports, and training records
• Conduct workplace analysis and develop safe work procedures

Requirements:

• Engineering or college degree (preferably in a relevant field)
• 5-10 years of experience in terminal operations (cargo operations, marine operations, tank operations)
• Knowledge of industry practices and standards (API, ISO 9000, etc.)

Location: Lives near Puerto San Jose, Escuintla, or nearby counties. Estimated salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
