Residential Construction Drafter

Meteor is seeking a skilled Revit Drafter to join our team working on residential construction projects. As a crucial member of our architecture and construction team, you will be responsible for transforming design concepts into detailed technical drawings that serve as the blueprint for construction projects.

This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in drafting, who is experienced in working with Revit software, and has a strong understanding of residential construction projects. • Create accurate and detailed technical drawings using Revit on provided sketches, measurements, and design concepts.
• Draft layouts, elevations, and sections for remodels, additions, and new construction projects.
• Assist in rendering plans into 3D using Revit software.
• Provide feedback on design inconsistencies or areas of improvement to the architecture team.
• Ensure all drawings align with project requirements and are suitable for city approval.

• Proven experience as a Revit Drafter in the residential construction or architecture industry.
• Proven experience using Revit.
• Strong understanding of residential construction projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Effective communication skills for remote collaboration with design and project teams.
• Must have own computer (relevant software and subscriptions provided).
• Excellent English verbal and written language proficiency.
• Access to a quiet work area at home with reliable internet.

• Experience collaborating with architecture or design teams on construction projects.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software like SketchUp.
• Ability to produce presentation quality 3D renderings using Lumion and/or Revit.
• University degree in architecture, interior design, civil engineering degree, or a related field.

• Base Salary: Q10,000 base salary.
• Role type: Full-time.
• Location: Guatemala (Remote - Work from home).
• Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
