Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customs Tariffs and Regulatory Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and researching international Customs Tariffs and duty rates that impact our clients' ability to do business internationally.

You will maintain and utilize current regulatory expertise to ensure that our database of Customs Tariffs is up to date and compliant with regulatory changes.

Additionally, you will follow and understand current international events and regulations related to customs tariffs, update information from regulations and laws, and implement it in specific tasks.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor and research international Customs Tariffs and duty rates that impact our clients' ability to do business internationally
2. Maintain and utilize current regulatory expertise to ensure that our database of Customs Tariffs is up to date and compliant with regulatory changes
3. Follow and understand current international events and regulations related to customs tariffs, update information from regulations and laws, and implement it in specific tasks
4. Ensure accurate data formats, data processing procedures, and requirements, and ensure compliance
5. Overview of the technical workflow with our development (tech) team, and be able to manipulate the workflow according to current requirements
6. Coordinate with other departments, assign, manage, and complete tasks through effective management of available personnel
7. Write clear documentation on processes, and ensure that the entire workflow is well documented and sufficiently clear for everyone
8. Trouble-shoot customer complaints, faulty workflows, missing data, etc.
9. Quickly identify workflows creating incomplete data, authorities releasing poor quality data, etc., and implement solutions accordingly

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Foreign Trade, International Business, or any other related field
• Expertise in reasoning and logic, and data organization
• Experience in the field of customs tariffs, Classification of goods data sets
• Extensive experience with Data Conversion (from raw data to different format)
• Good knowledge of Legislation and Regulation Monitoring
• Experience with Data conversion to SAP users in a huge advantage
• Extensive experience in understanding and communicating (written and verbal) technical processes and legal documents to people with diverse professional backgrounds
• Skills in project management and coordination
• Professional communication skills
• Expertise in MS Excel
