Job Description

Business Support

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the support of our team in training, knowledge, and technology transfer roles by our Global Marketing Organisation. This will involve coordinating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Nutrition and Formulation

  • Translate research findings and practical experiences into our animal feed portfolio, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor feed formulations to ensure they meet quality performance and animal health standards, making adjustments as needed.
  • Responsible for quality control, analysis, and interpretation of trial data, preparing final reports that inform our product development.
  • Develop new products based on your knowledge of consumer/customer needs and opportunities, staying ahead of the curve in the industry.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers.

Presentation and Communication

As a representative of Trouw Nutrition, you will be responsible for representing our company at science meetings, profiling our R&D and innovative image to the industry.

Management

  • Lead a team of technical experts and Product Managers to meet current and future business needs, driving growth and success.
  • Manage and develop protocols, data, and reports of all post-registration studies, interacting with marketing to develop and leverage resulting data into sales.
  • Support the development of training, marketing, and sales materials for our products, ensuring that our messaging is clear and compelling.
  • Provide support and expertise in the area of nutrition to our marketing, technical consulting, and sales employees, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

Idea Generation and Networking

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our network of research partners, ensuring that we stay ahead of the curve in the industry. You will also be responsible for complying with animal ethics guidelines and rules, as well as Nutreco's code of conduct.

Qualifications

  • PhD degree preferred with an excellent track record in research management.
  • Highly developed animal or human nutrition knowledge.
  • Management skills, including leadership and team management.
  • Presentation, communication skills, including public speaking and writing.
  • Project management and portfolio management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Internal and external networker, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Entrepreneur, motivator, with a strong ability to drive growth and success.
