Freelance Content Writer

Cognits is seeking a skilled Freelance Copywriter to join our team. As a Freelance Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content that promotes our client's brand and drives conversions.

• Translate content strategy into engaging and effective copy, adhering to brand voice and target audience.
• Write various types of website copy, including branded content and service offerings, product descriptions and explainers, marketing landing pages, blog posts, page headlines, calls to action, and more.
• Conduct keyword research and optimize copy for search engines (SEO).
• Edit and proofread existing content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Collaborate with the Content Lead and other stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and message alignment.
• Stay informed about copywriting trends and best practices, suggesting innovative writing approaches to enhance user engagement.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) for effective communication with the Content Lead and understanding client requirements.
• 3+ years experience as digital copywriter.
• Bachelor's degree in English / Creative writing or related field.
• Proven experience as a copywriter with a strong portfolio of work.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles.
• Experience in B2B copywriting and/or SaaS/tech copywriting.
• Knowledge of web accessibility guidelines and inclusive writing practices.
• Strong understanding of websites and customer-centric design principles.
