About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to monitor and understand international Customs Tariffs and duty rates that impact business operations globally.

The ideal candidate will maintain and utilize current regulatory expertise to ensure compliance with international regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and stay up-to-date on international Customs Tariffs and duty rates
  • Maintain and update databases of Customs Tariffs
  • Follow and understand current international events and regulations related to customs tariffs
  • Ensure compliance with data formats, processing procedures and requirements
  • Coordinate with development teams to implement technical workflows
  • Manage tasks and personnel effectively
  • Troubleshoot customer complaints and faulty workflows
  • Identify and implement solutions for incomplete or poor quality data

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Foreign Trade, International Business or a related field
  • Expertise in reasoning and logic, data organization and project management
  • Experience in customs tariffs, classification of goods data sets, data conversion and legislation monitoring
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and SAP systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
