About This Role Contribute to the mobilization of resources through the implementation of the business plan for obtaining funds from diversified sources of financing at the national and international level and additionally collaborate with the contractual assurance of the projects won, to maintain business relationships with donors and stimulate new relationships.
Required Experience and Education A Bachelor degree in either Business Administration, International Relations, Marketing, Project Management, Public Policies or equivalent in the relevant area required. Equivalent relevant work experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree.
At least five (5) years of experience in fundraising from international and local donors.
At least five (5) years of experience in planning, monitoring and evaluation of social development programs and projects.
Verifiable experience in the preparation and analysis of proposals and budgets (minimum six proposals presented to national or international donors).
Complete command of Microsoft Office.
Level B2, C1 or C2 English
Knowledge of children's rights and gender perspective.
Demonstrated capability in execution of various stages of the grant lifecycle including pre-award review, grant progress monitoring, and award closure.
Proven excellent communication, networking, presentation, public speaking and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team for a successful achievement of proposal development.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English required.
Significant Travel to ChildFund’s geographic areas required.

Primary Responsibilities Pre-Award Grant Acquisition
Implement the Central America Fundraising Strategy in Guatemala along with the Fundraising Manager
Suppont national and Central America Grant Acquisition efforts; responsible for the Guatemala institutional grant capacity development to increase grant portfolio.
Leads the drafting and presentation of proposals, operational and financial reports in collaboration with the relevant Program and Finance staff; ensure best practice is communicated, followed, and shared in all aspects of grants management.
Supports the integration and participation of partners in proposal development and execution.
Support the strengthening and building of relationships with the government to raise local funds.
Meet projected LOA targets to support the central America office annual and long-term growth and scale.
Provide inputs to maintain the Pipeline, quarterly reports, funding trackers and other tools to be implemented.

Donor Relations
Supports the development and maintenance of effective relationships with current and prospective donors.
Provides appropriate and timely feedback to ensure management is fully informed of grant project progress and success with all new and existing donors.
Works closely with the support of the business development manager in cultivating relationships for business development.
