- Will need a freelance writer 20 hours a week to supplement the content effort for launch.
- Would be writing long-form content pieces on payroll in English. Being VERY proficient / advanced in English will be a must.
General Description
We are looking for a talented and creative Website Copywriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen understanding of brand voice, and the ability to craft compelling and engaging copy for client websites. You will craft compelling and persuasive content that engages users, promotes our client's brand, and drives conversions, following an established content strategy and content creation plan. You will write clear, concise, and SEO-optimized text for all matter of website content, including branded content and service offerings, product descriptions and explainers, marketing landing pages, blog posts, and other content types as needed.

Roles and responsibilities
- Translate content strategy into engaging and effective copy, adhering to brand voice and target audience.
- Write various types of website copy, including branded content and service offerings, product descriptions and explainers, marketing landing pages, blog posts, page headlines, calls to action, and more.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize copy for search engines (SEO).
- Edit and proofread existing content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Collaborate with the Content Lead and other stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and message alignment.
- Stay informed about copywriting trends and best practices, suggesting innovative writing approaches to enhance user engagement.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced English (written and spoken) for effective communication with the Content Lead and understanding client requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as digital copywriter.
- Bachelor’s degree in English / Creative writing or related field.
- Proven experience as a copywriter with a strong portfolio of work.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Experience in B2B copywriting and/or SaaS/tech copywriting
- Knowledge of web accessibility guidelines and inclusive writing practices.
- Strong understanding of websites and customer-centric design principles
